We are thrilled to announce our 2nd annual Winter Wonderland party in partnership with the Children’s Hospital Colorado Cleft Lip and Palate Clinic. Youth with clefts and their families are invited to an afternoon of snacks, crafts and games. The event is an opportunity for families to build community in a casual and fun environment.

Join us on December 9, 2012 from 2-4:30 P.M. in the Mt. Princeton Room of Children’s Hospital Colorado at 13123 E 16th Ave, Aurora, CO 80045. Please RSVP with the names of the family members attending to info@facetofacecolorado.org. Attendance is free.

Last Year’s Winter Wonderland
Our 1st Winter Wonderland Party in 2011 was a huge success. Over 60 people attended including youth of all ages with clefts, their siblings, parents, aunts, uncles, grandparents and even great-grandparents. Participants enjoyed decorating winter themed picture frames, making paper snowflakes and playing with wagons in the hallway. During the activities, families shared their stories and advice about cleft lip and palate. Many of the attendees have since become a part of our Face-to-Face “family” through our ongoing programming throughout the year.

Volunteers Needed
Volunteers’ time, insight and skills are crucial to making our events a success. We need volunteers to help with planning the activities, food preparation, marketing and leading activities. Youth, family members, care providers and community members are all encouraged to volunteer. Please contact us if you are interested in volunteering for Winter Wonderland.
