Reserve your spot today for the upcoming Speak Up for Kids’ Health at the Capitol, April 23 in Denver. Advocates for child health will explore the latest issues in child health policymaking, learn new advocacy skills and reach out to lawmakers to ensure the health of Colorado’s children is at the forefront of legislator’s minds as they craft policy impacting the lives of children and families. Decisions about child health are too important to be left solely to others. Co-hosted by the Colorado Children’s Campaign and Children’s Hospital Colorado, the event will be from 7:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. with breakfast, lunch and complimentary child care. We’ll start and end the day at History Colorado, 1200 Broadway, with a trip in between to the Colorado State Capitol to observe democracy in action and reach out to state lawmakers.
